**** IMPORTANT UPDATE: As you all are aware we will be out of school for the remainder of this school year. I sure am going to miss seeing each an every one of you. For my math kiddos, please check our Math Google classroom for activities and videos for you to be working on. I will post all new assignments and information on our Google classroom. I have starred lessons in you IXL accounts that I believe would be good practice. Also please remember you can continue to use reflex math to continue to work on your basic math skills. Please feel free to contact me via email with any additional questions or concerns. I will be holding "virtual" office hours starting April 6th on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:30-3:30pm. Please email me if you would like to meet virtually during that time. I've posted my contact number in our Google classroom as well. Be Safe & Stay Healthy!
This year I will be teaching 6th and 7th grade Math. This year we will learn and master the 6th and 7th grade SOLs with hard work and our best effort. Classes will offer opportunities for independent learning, group learning, and individual learning through various types of assignments. Students will not be given assignments/homework outside of the classroom unless multiple absences occur and teacher determines it is necessary. In the event a student needs to complete assignments at home, Mrs. Heckman will contact home to let you know. By then end of the year, students will be prepared to take the Math 6 or the Math 7 SOL.
